A local clothing store with a limited budget presented particular challenges, due to narrowly-spaced floor racks and shelving full of clothes. The layout would have interrupted the scanning range of standard motion detectors and would also have given intruders spaces in which they could move undetected.

The answer was a clever combination of ceiling-mounted Dual Tec PIRs motion detectors and ceiling-mounted detectors, creating a comprehensive yet budget-friendly security system.

Panic Fobs & Buttons with CCTV Protection

The Pub

This historic pub needed a flexible security system that could work around live-in accommodation, part-time staff and protect the public areas. Panic buttons/panic fobs are set up in the bar and safe areas so staff can activate them in the event of threat or theft. We set up the system so staff members could set and unset the system by entering individual codes into the keypad, thereby allowing the manager to track who was on the premises at any time. These codes are easily changeable, or able to be removed, so if staff members left, they would no longer be able to use them.

The live-in owner has overall control of the system using the app, whether they are on-site or off. Importantly, a part-set option allowed staff to access the working areas but not have access to the office or living accommodation.

CCTV was integrated into the system so the landlady is able to monitor the premises via her smart phone, even when on holiday.

The Furniture Retailer

Set within a multi-level premises with mezzanine floors, stock rooms and admin offices, this required a fully integrated system of CCTV indoors and out, plus a range of detectors designed for large areas of plate glass and flexible access control.

CCTV cameras are mounted within the retail area and footage is streamed to the office where security staff are able to monitor all areas at once. At the rear, vehicle recognition features alert staff if unknown registration plates arrive at the warehouse area.

Lunar ceiling-mounted detectors mean staff don’t have to worry about changing displays accidentally blocking coverage of wide areas of shop floor, while Glass break detectors are ideally suited for protecting huge plate glass windows.
